Can tell a fair bit of effort went into this, just from the opening. It has a lot going for it. The plot intrigues.
Would recommend keeping the important controls listed somewhere visible as a reminder. And letting the player sprite have a little more animation, like blinking or rolling sometimes; would be nice. Not sure how big the game is usually supposed to be, but in the newgrounds window the text was a bit small and hard to read.
Visuals are charming, and the little effects are quite nice. Overall, it's got heart. Hope you continue on it.

Thanks you!

The puzzles flowed quite naturally. Never got frustrated in the process. Very well-designed especially under the development time-constraints.

Not sure if it's being addressed, but I'm getting a "Maximum call stack size exceeded" error after the title screen pops up, which I think is preventing me from selecting any of the options. I can still select the top left dropdown menu that lists "import/export saves" etc. but that's about it. Is it just me, or anyone else get this issue?

EDIT: it should be working now!!

If you're on Chrome this will happen!! this is an issue with Ren'Py web rather than the game itself.

Surprisingly atmospheric. Great audio here. Took a whole walk around the map, hit things that I couldn't kill, and said hello to some folks at a campfire. Controls on the starting screen were somewhat hard to decipher, but perhaps that was the intention? Felt like I was missing something, or not using interacting in ways that I could have been.

Some of the chases can be unexpectedly intense! Life's hard for the little critter. Cute little romp.

Fairly challenging. Didn't make it too high up beyond 130m. Game's real smooth and visually appealing though, and have to give props to the use of the dynamic music transitions. Appreciate that in any game I play.

Thank you for your kind words! We really appreciate your feedback and our sound designer is indeed amazing ;)

Liking the creep factor. Pixels do some amazing things.
Only issue that I experienced a couple times was accidentally and instantly dismissing the dialog boxes when they popped up, due to rapidly pressing buttons during one of the gameplay segments. Perhaps an uncommon thing not worth addressing, but if possible there could be a slight time buffer before the dialog boxes accept the input to dismiss.
Fun time.
